Sim Racing and YouTube videos
Studio 397 have today realised the Formula E car pack and Hong Kong circuit. It costs about £11 on Steam but so far I think it’s worth it. Also rFactor 2 is a cheap game to run so I have no objection with this extra content, particularly when it’s this good. I’ve played for a few hours and this is a true challenge and is unlike any other cars you can drive in sim racing. I look forward to more tracks being released (hopefully at a reduced cost for all of them).
The last piece of the sim racing puzzle has arrived and for the money I can’t fault it. Build quality is good and the seat is comfortable. The seat position is also great. Works well with my Fanatec wheel and pedals. It has definitely help my driving and couldn’t go back to mounting the wheel on my desk. Check it out you won’t be disappointed. There is also a none Alcantara version in grey which is pretty much the same for a lot less.
I’ve been away from the site for a while. Mostly due to this fantastic bundle. I have been very impressed with the build quality and force feedback. Highly recommended!

Just received my laptop screen and controller board from ebay. Looking forward to a little project to create an extra monitor for my PC to help with video editing. A quick test proves everything is working.
Since getting the Oculus Rift and playing rFactor 2 I have realised that I need a steering wheel and foot pedals kit. After reading many reviews and watching even more YouTube video reviews I’ve settled on the Fanatec CSL Elite PS4™ Starter Kit for PC and PS4.
The Oculus Rift has arrived and my first thoughts are that it is just amazing, the setup demo is great. You 3D print items to use in your environment. The IIS tour is just breath taking. I won’t bother with an unboxing video because let’s face it I opened it as soon as the postman left!

Logitech Keys To Go Ultra Portable Keyboard for iPad
I have just received this great portable keyboard by Logitech. Unlike other keyboards this doesn’t act as a screen cover and is light weight, which is exactly what I need. This will hopefully get a lot of use and I’ve used it for this post. This has to be the best Bluetooth keyboard i have used with my iPad.
